You asked, we listened. Landscape Ontario Award of Excellence Program is raising the bar!
The Landscape Industry is advancing and the professionalism has significantly increased. We've built an Awards program to showcase just that.
New for 2025:
Scores between 80 - 89% will receive an Award of Merit
Scores between 90 - 100% will receive an Award of Excellence
Maximum two categories per project
Removal of Marketing category
New criteria for design category to match National Awards
Possibility of losing points during judging process (untidy site, dead plants, company logo being shown, etc)
Updated - Judging score sheets

We are pleased to announce that we have elevated the standards for the 2025 Landscape Ontario Awards of Excellence Program. Based on your valuable feedback and the exceptional quality of work achieved to date, it is clear that the time has come to raise the bar.
The Awards of Excellence Program is a time to celebrate your creativity, innovation, and excellence in our field. Each year, we come together to recognize and reward the outstanding achievements that not only shape our physical environment but also enhance the quality of life for our communities around us. As Landscape Ontario members you continue to advance our industry and set new benchmarks. Our awards program should reflect this upward trajectory and with this progression in professionalism our awards program must also evolve. The outstanding quality and sheer volume of submissions we received last year are a testament to the remarkable talent within our community. Your landscapes inspire us all. The creative prowess required to transform given spaces and overcome challenges has resulted in breathtaking outdoor environments that are true masterpieces. This year, the standards will be more stringent, and winners will be those who not only meet but exceed expectations.
